1. You switch off the ignition — the Nitro Pro arms itself immediately, with no button to press.
2. Next time you want to drive, you enter your personal PIN sequence using your car's existing steering wheel or dashboard buttons.
3. Enter the correct sequence and the engine starts as normal. Get it wrong, or skip it, and the vehicle stays immobilised — regardless of whether the correct key is in the ignition.

The Nitro Pro is TASSA approved, though it isn't currently Thatcham-categorised in its own right. Many insurers accept it as a strong standalone immobiliser, and it's specifically designed to be paired with a Thatcham S5 or S7 tracker to satisfy stricter policy requirements — particularly for high-theft-risk models such as keyless-entry SUVs, pickups, and vans.
